Building Materials Direct Ltd take our responsibilities to the environment very seriously and are continually monitoring ways in which we can reduce our businesses impact on the environment, we feel that we have already achieved a major step forward in our industry, with a large proportion of our employees working from home and not having to use carbon emitting transport to travel to and from work.

Very little paper is used in our operation as almost all transactions are done electronically. These along with a number of other steps we are currently taking will improve our impact on the environment and make our business more environmentally friendly.

Can I claim back VAT ?
Building Materials Direct Ltd are VAT registered and able to supply a genuine VAT invoice. One of the best things about Self building is that in many cases you are able to reclaim the VAT on most materials purchased for the project.
